Alan loves all things outdoors. You can find him in his spare time surfing at the beach or at his hobby farm in the Cooroy mountains, bird watching and mowing the lawn on his tractor.

He has a wonderful sense of humour, combined with a caring and confident professional approach.

Alan has lived most of his life on the Sunshine Coast and has established a strong local network within the community.

He has a wealth of  expertise in emergency and community nursing, mens health, health promotion workshops and forums, mental health, rural and remote nursing, wound care (specialising in attentive daily dressing for rapid healing), midwifery, medication reviews, continence, bloods, cannulation, catheterisation and vena-puncture.

He is a strong advocate for the aged and Nurse Navigation (planning and supporting clients to access health systems).
