Cancelation Policy

Our policy: We require a minimum of 24 hours notice if you wish to cancel your appointment.

This provides the practice with an opportunity to offer the appointment to other clients from our waiting list.

If you fail to attend the practice and do not cancel your appointment, we may charge you $50 on the first occasion.

If you do cancel your appointment but provide less than 24 hours notice, you may be charged $50 on the first occasion.  If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, we will try to provide you with an alternative appointment time on your scheduled day of service in order to avoid the cancellation fee being charged.

After more than one failure to attend or late cancellation, we may charge you the full cost of the treatment. After more than two failures to attend or late cancellations, we will charge you the full cost of the treatment and you will be required to pre-pay for any future appointments.

At any stage, if you fail to attend any appointments, all future appointments will be canceled and you will be required to reschedule.

If you do cancel and cannot attend that day at all, the late notice cancellation fee will be removed if Encompass Health Services is able to fill the allocated appointment slot. So it still is in your interest (as well as ours) to give as much notice as possible of any appointment changes.

We ask clients to make every effort to keep their scheduled appointments to avoid us having to turn other clients away when we are fully booked.

DVA do not cover charges for non-attendance. These charges will need to be met by the client.
