Tiana is an experienced occupational therapist with a strong focus on helping people live safely and independently in their own homes. With over seven years of experience across both community and hospital settings, she brings practical knowledge and genuine empathy to every visit.
Tiana has a particular interest in equipment prescription, home safety assessments, and minor to mid-level home modifications. Whether she’s helping someone access their shower more safely or recommending the right aids to support daily activities, her approach is always grounded in the client’s goals and preferences. She’s passionate about supporting older adults and people with disabilities to remain in their homes for as long as possible—comfortably, confidently, and with dignity.
Tiana values a client-centred, evidence-based approach, and takes the time to truly listen to each person she works with. Her calm, respectful nature and attention to detail make her a trusted presence in the homes and lives of her clients.
She joined Encompass Health Services to embrace the flexibility and independence of community-based work, and to be part of a team that values people-first care. She also continues to work casually in hospital-based rehabilitation, maintaining a broad perspective across the care continuum.
When she’s not working, Tiana can usually be found swimming in the ocean, walking her beloved labradoodle and cocker spaniel, or enjoying time with family and friends.
