Am I entitled to a rebate for physiotherapy?
If you qualify for and access an Enhanced Primary Care plan from your GP, a referral entitles you to a partial rebate of $60.35 per consultation. If you have extras cover with a private health fund, you may be eligible for a partial rebate depending on your fund and level of cover.
Do I need a doctors referral to access physiotherapy?
No, if accessing services with NDIS or My Aged Care, plan to pay privately or claim a rebate with your private health fund.
You will require a GP referral to access a rebate via Medicare, or funding through DVA.
