Lucy is a passionate and down to earth dietitian who brings five years of clinical experience and a practical, food first approach to her work. Based on the Sunshine Coast, she supports clients through My Aged Care and NDIS programs, with a strong focus on home based care, hospital discharge planning, and enteral nutrition.
Lucy has a special interest in supporting clients as they transition from hospital back into their home environment, ensuring their nutritional needs are met to promote recovery, strength, and independence. She also has extensive experience in home enteral nutrition (HEN), working with individuals and families to simplify tube feeding and help clients live full, active lives with confidence.
Before becoming a dietitian, Lucy spent eight years working in the hospitality industry, including in fine dining and health food retail. This background gave her a deep appreciation for the role of food in both enjoyment and wellbeing, a perspective she brings into every client interaction.
Lucy was drawn to Encompass Health Services because of its multidisciplinary, community based model. She values the ease of collaboration across allied health disciplines, allowing for truly holistic, wraparound care. She’s known for her warm, approachable style and her ability to translate complex nutrition advice into achievable, everyday strategies that suit each client’s lifestyle and health goals.
When she’s not working, Lucy’s usually outdoors making the most of family time. Her weekends are often spent camping with her partner, kids, and their dog Winnie, or chasing adventure water skiing, dirt bike riding, or running a half marathon.
